The band workshop was quite a success and we are glad to welcome the newer members.  Our musical range and ability is slowly increasing and the tempo is becoming quite dynamicthanks to the strong input from everyone

Band costs are covered by the fees below
$33 per term    Family   $75 per term

The concert band which is a non-profit organisation welcomes all new members regardless of age and ability.  Grab an instrument and come and play. There are members here to help and guide you. The band meets once a week for practice during NSW school term times. The normal times are between 6.30 pm  and 8.30 pm every Tuesday

The venue is the CWA Hall on the corner of Gowrie Av and Achilles St Nelson Bay. We are active in looking for new members and now have a great musical director who is encouraging us beyond expectations.

We have instruments to hire if required and naturally all music is supplied.

From time to time we give performances in the Port Stephens area.

Our Aims

1 Promote the enjoyment of music

2 Offer a forum for all those learning, to play as a group and to practice  with like minded friends.

3 To attain a standard that will allow us all to play for community organisations and functions, with confidence, when requested
